Cody has a strong background in both operations and finance. Cody comes to Scout following his time at a venture studio in Austin, TX building technologies to serve real estate owners and operators. He managed the technology vertical of the business, which is composed of 10 startups in InsureTech, FinTech, Web3 and PropTech. Prior to this experience, he was the Treasurer at FTC Solar, where he co-led their $258M initial public offering (IPO) and established a $100M revolving credit facility. Following the IPO, Cody moved into operations & program management establishing more processes within the organization to enable continued growth and scale. Prior to FTC Solar, he spent time at JPMorgan Chase in their Military Officer Executive Development Program rotating throughout the four lines of business within the firm, spending the majority of his time in the commercial bank. Cody holds a BS in Business Management from West Point and served six years as an Infantry Officer, with his last assignment as a Ranger Instructor.
