Mike joins Scout Ventures with a background in artificial intelligence and machine learning, driven by his interest in leveraging technology for investment. His role at Scout spans across multiple functions, including sourcing, diligencing, and executing investment opportunities.

A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Mike holds a Bachelor’s in Finance and a Master's in Computer Science. Mike was involved in developing next-generation AI technologies at Shield AI, specifically in autonomous systems for defense applications. His professional journey includes significant stints at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he delivered ML solutions to leaders at OSD and contributed to internal research projects involving spectrum deconfliction. In his free time Mike enjoys playing intramural sports along with being an avid Chiefs fan.
